Rosalia Kowal Obituary

Rosalia (Votus) Kowal, 94, of Wethersfield, wife of the late Leo Kowal, died Saturday, March 2, 2019 at her home. She was born in L’Viv, Ukraine and made her home in Wethersfield for over 50 years. She retired from the Elm Hill Nursing Center after 20 years employment and was a member of St. Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church in Hartford. She is survived by a son Zeno Kowal of Wethersfield, three grandchildren, Shonya Collier, Gretchen Kowal and Alexis Tattersall, four great grandchildren Madeline, Isabella, Gager and George. She was predeceased by a son Orest J. Kowal. A PRIVATE graveside service will be held Saturday March 9th at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery 1458 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury.
