Mio amato Paolo,

Abbiamo trascorso 59 anni  insieme prima che te ne sei andato, lasciandoci con un dolore inconsolabile, ma con la speranza che un giorno saremo reuniti in un posto dove l’eternita diventera l’inizio della nostra nuova vita insieme.

Eravamo due adolescenti quando ci siamo incontrati e innamorati l’uno con l’altro. Avevo solo 17 anni e tu 19.

Anche se la vita trascorsa  insieme ha avuto alti e bassi,, vivere insieme e stato il viaggio piu bello della mia vita.

L’amore spesso non  si esprime  con le parole ma con il silenzio, un silenzio piu alto di un grido che anche uno sordo puo’ sentire.

Caro amato Paolo, la tua assenza ci manchera’ per sempre.

 La vita non sara piu la stessa senza il tuo amore incondizionato e la tua devozione alla famiglia.

Grazie per avere mantenuto la famiglia insieme sperando  anche nei  momenti di bisogni emozionali che tutto andra bene.

Paolo, mio amato sposo, amico,  compagno, mi mancherai fino al giorno che saremo riuniti in un posto eterno dove l’eta’ non conta

English Eulogy for my beloved husband Paolo.

My beloved Paolo,

We spent 59 years together before you departed leaving me and your loved ones with inconsolable grief, but with the hope that one day we will be reunited in a place where eternity will become our new life together.

When we met we were two adolescents falling in love with each other; I was only 17 and you were 19 years of age,

Living our life together even with ups and downs, has been the greatest voyage of my life.

Love often is not expressed with words but with silence, a language spoken so loudly that even the deaf can hear it.

My dearest Paolo, me and our two boys, Alessandro and Giorgio will forever miss you.

Life can never be the same without your unconditional love and dedication to your family.

Thank you for always keeping us together in times of emotional need and never give up hope.

My beloved Paolo, my husband, my lover, my friend, my companion, I will always miss you until the day we are reunited in an ageless eternal place.
