Alice (Gwara) Dalenta

Alice (Gwara) Dalenta, age 83, died peacefully at her home in Newington on Saturday, October 6, 2018. Alice was born in Jazgarka, Poland on April 28, 1935 to Adam and Marianna (Tanski) Gwara. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin Dalenta, her brother Joseph, and her son-in-law, John Rice. She is survived by three daughters- Marianne Hawkes & fiance Robert Graham, Christine Dalenta, and Diane Dalenta-Rice. She leaves her grandchildren, Christian & Daniel Miller and Aleksandra Rice, and her great-grandchildren CJ, Molly, Daylin, Faith, and Skylar Miller. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday (October 12, 2018) at 10:00 am at SS. Cyril and Methodius Church, 55 Charter Oak Ave., Hartford, CT. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol, CT. Relatives and friends may call at Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington Ave., W. Htfd., CT on Thursday (October 11) between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope Loves Company, P.O.
